Reviews and Ratings
My stay was quite nice overall. The rooms need a little TLC but are still very comfortable. Unfortunately, my room wasn't ready when promised, and I had to check my luggage and come back. On the bright side, the room was clean, had good bedding, a large shower, and free WiFi that worked well throughout the hotel, depending on the room location.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean, hip, and spacious, perfect for New York, but being located 8 floors above the Purple nightclub caused some noise issues. Although the temperature in the room was comfortably below 77 degrees, the check-in process could have been more welcoming.
The hotel's rooms are very nice and well designed, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay. The service provided was outstanding, with staff going out of their way to be helpful. The location is ideal for exploring a genuine NY neighborhood and has plenty of nearby bars and restaurants. The dining experience, while pretty expensive, was modest, and the facilities were well-maintained.
The hotel has decent-sized, clean, and quiet rooms with good amenities, but the service seems more focused on being cool rather than on guest service. The location is ideal, right in the heart of LES and close to a less crowded Brooklyn area, but the dining options are limited and expensive.
I chose a corner room up in the tower with a running view of lower Manhattan, but ended up with just a side view of an apartment on the 4th floor. The service was slightly tedious at times, with some interrogation upon returning, yet the staff were very nice and helpful. The location was great for nightlife and dining options, but the rooftop was unfortunately closed to guests. The dining experience was very limited and overpriced. Overall, it wasn't what I expected.
Upon arrival, we were delighted to find wine, fruit, and chocolate-covered strawberries in our room, setting a warm tone for our stay. The room was spacious for the price and thoughtfully equipped with all essential amenities, making it a comfortable retreat. The service, marked by helpful and friendly staff, including the courteous reception team, went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. The hotel's location in the vibrant Lower East Side of NYC offered a fantastic experience, within walking distance of various neighborhoods and a myriad of dining and shopping options.
The hotel's location is fantastic, surrounded by stunning views and offering incredible rooftop pool access and a good selection of drinks. The rooms, while smaller than expected, are comfortable and the staff are proactive in attending to guests' needs. The area is bustling with bars and restaurants, perfect for enjoying the Lower East Side ambiance. In terms of transportation, the hotel is convenient for local attractions but not ideal for exploring other parts of New York due to limited subway options.
